Leven K Farm is a family-run business in Inglewood, Queensland.
Established in 2001, Leven K Farm produces award-winning lavender essential oils and small-batch goods, handmade with love by Kellie and Matthew. Our passion is to make quality products and share the wealth of knowledge we’ve gained by growing and exploring the potential of the versatile lavender plant.
Preferring to operate on a small, personal scale, our Shed Shop offers a curated range of Leven K products and high-quality goods from like-minded businesses.
The Leven K Story
We moved to Inglewood in 2000 with the vision of raising our family in a small country town that was similar to our upbringing. Our vision was to establish a lucerne hay business that meant the flexibility of working for ourselves and being available to our children at all times as they grew. The lavender started adjacent to our lucerne business as something that could easily utilise a small parcel of land that was not in use at the time.
Our first lavender crop was planted in 2001. We started by participating in our first TALGA (The Australian Lavender Growers Association) conference in Stanthorpe after which we returned home with 500 plants and little idea of what we would emerge once they were grown. Our first pick was dried and sold as craft bunches…
